This is possibly the cover to a First Period Worcester 'three flower' pattern milk jug. It is a domed lid with a a beautifully moulded flower finial with two leaves at its stem base. The cover is decorated in underglaze blue 'three flower pattern' and associated double blue lines around the rim of the cover. This lid dates from c1780.

This Worcester cover is in very good condition with no cracks, repairs or restoration. The only very minor imperfection is a few flea nibbles to the finial flower petals, but this really is minimal.
