This is an attractive Crown Staffordshire porcelain lid, decorated in an 'Imari' palette of dark blue, orange and rich gilding.

The lid has a flat, moulded and partially gilded finial. It is marked on the underside of the lid with the Crown Staffordshire Porcelain Co. mark. this was used at this factory from c1905+. I do not know what this lid is from.
