A very fine and delightful Worcester saucer, dating from c1785. This delightful saucer is decorated with sprays of formal flowers in blue and gold. The body of the saucer is of smooth soft paste porcelain.

The main body of the saucer is beautifully decorated with sprays of formal flowers of underglaze blue flowers, their stems and leaves finely drawn in rich honey gold; the fineness of the gilding is exquisite. The decoration comprises three main flower bouquets with lesser sprigs between them. The top and inner rim are gilded, the inner rim with gilt dentil decoration.
A single back to back flower sprig decorates the inside base of the saucer. This within a circle of dentil gilding.

There are no manufacturer's marks, but is from the famous Worcester factory and dates from c1785.
This delightful Worcester saucer is in very good condition with no cracks, chips, repairs or restoration. The gilding shows little to no sign of wear.
