Teapot:

The teapot has an oval shanked body, the shanked lines showing the 'tram lines' or double lines to them, this a characteristic of Chamberlain Worcester wares.

The decoration of the teapot has the gilt band of decoration to the shoulder of the teapot and to the rim of the lid. This band created from interlinked ellipses with three dots in each ellipse.

The lid of the teapot has, in addition to the interlinked band of ellipses, a gilt floral sprig on each side of it. There is the usual Chamberlain Worcester shaped knob to the lid, this embellished with spiralling gilt lines to complement the shanked moulded shape of the teapot's body.

An elegantly shaped curving spout is decorated with gilding around the base and also up the front.

A loop shaped handle perfectly balances the elegant spout. The handle is beautifully decorated with a finely moulded leaf with applied gilding, a delightful feature.

The teapot is very clean inside and shows the straining holes to the spout. The lid fits comfortably and the inside of the lid is marked in gilt script 'Chamberlains Wor'ster'.

Teapot Stand:

The teapot stand, is oval in shape to match the foot print of the teapot. Decorated in the same design as the teapot, it is lovely to have the teapot complete with its original stand.

As with the teapot, the gilding is in extremely good condition and has a very rich honey colour to it.

Sucrier:

The sucrier has the same oval shanked body as the teapot and has the same applied gilt decoration. The gilding is again in very good condition.

At each end of the sucrier are moulded loop handles each embellished with gilt lines.

The cover to the sucrier has the same characteristic knob to it as on the lid of the teapot. the gilding on the knob is superb.

The cover of the sucrier is also marked on the inside with 'Chamberlain's Worc-r  No 120' The number 120 being the pattern number.

Milk Jug:

The milk jug of this set is beautifully elegant in its shape. It has the same oval shanked body as the rest of the set and carries the same delightful gilt decoration. It has a gilt floral sprig on the front of the jug and floral embellishment to the back edge of the high looped handle.
