This beautiful early Derby soup tureen stand is marked on the base with the puce Derby mark of a crown above crossed batons and dots, together with the pattern number '92'. This puce mark was used at the famous Derby factory between c1782-1800

This rare Derby soup tureen stand is in good condition with no chips, cracks, repairs or restoration. The only extremely minor imperfections are some wear to the gilding, mostly on the raised central platform rim and the rim of the stand, as shown in the pictures below. There is also a few little blemishes in the glaze, but these are insignificant and just from the manufacture.

This soup tureen stand would be perfect for anyone who has a tureen of this design that is lacking a stand. Alternatively, this is an impressive Derby plate in its own right for the collector of Eighteenth century Derby porcelain.
