A richly decorated Chamberlain Worcester cup and saucer with a 'spiral shanked' moulded body, c1795. The decoration of this beautiful cup and saucer is in a rich wide Cobalt blue with gilt swaged foliate pattern applied to it and also scattered gold leaves all over the body of the coffee can and saucer, which is very striking. This cup and saucer is from the famous Chamberlain Worcester factory and is marked with the pattern number 386 in gold under the saucer.
