The body of this slops bowl is of a circular shape with vertical moulded fluting.

The decoration of the body of the slops bowl is of an applied gold Etruscan border, a design quite synonymous with the English Regency period of the early nineteenth century. This pattern is also sometimes referred too as the 'Greek Key' pattern. It is listed in the patterns of the Chamberlain Worcester factory as 'Hambleton, gold Etruscan border'. This design is quite striking in appearance especially with the very rich honey coloured gilding.

The rim of the slops bowl and around the base is a gold line.
